In mid summer, 2010, one of us had an idea: to try and tackle
the entire stud mill road series. We're not really sure who floated
the idea originally, but between the lot of us - forestfauna,
Treehugger21, and Coopsquared - we certainly found the idea of 100
+ caches in a day appealing.
This was the first major caching expedition we had planned out
as a group, and it was an experience. Power trails, especially park
and grab power trails, are not for everybody. The Stud Mill Road
series (check out this
cache and look at the map to see the series) is a LONG series
of quick park and grabs. For us, it became boring over the course
of the day, but it was good fun with good friends.
Partway through the day, we realized that another cacher was
finding the same series on the same day! It took us several (dozen)
caches to be able to read this cachers name. We thought it said
NORKAK. After the trip was over and we found out that no such
cacher exists, we decided to call OURSELVES Team Norkak!
