This cache is located near to the MOD Bramley Training Facility.
Bramley Ordnance Depot (as it was originally known) was opened during World War I for the manufacture and storage of ammunition.
Over 30 miles of track was laid for the safe transportation of ordnance between the buildings, all within a camp measure a mile and a half long! These days Bramley camp is a busy training facility, gunfire can be heard in the surrounding villages most days. Chinooks regularly use the camp for landing training as it is very close to thier Odiham base.
The MOD have also allowed Scrapheap challenge and Midsomer Murders to be filmed there in the last few years.
