Geocache Description:

Tin hidden in mining area above old house

Cache is located up a small canyon dirt road CM7619 in a mining area. We were amazed at the equipment still at the site and the rock foundations for houses. There are some open mines in the area, so watch children and pets. The cache is located just up the hill above the rock foundation in a small outcropping prior to reaching the elevator. Small 4x4 tin with log.

Watch for snakes and other critters. Don't attempt the cache in rainy weather when heavy downpours might create flash floods or make the road slippery in areas. Enjoy the area and other caches nearby.
