Marchand de Ploquettes (1999) Statue monumentale en bronze (3 m de haut) de Louis-Pierre Wagelmans symbolisant l’éclat de l’industrie florissante de la laine à Verviers.
Le Marchand de Ploquettes était un représentant de laines, il passait ses journées de filatures en carderies pour présenter ses échantillons de laines enroulés dans des cylindres de papier bleu.

Dealer Ploquettes (1999) monumental bronze statue (3m high) by Louis-Pierre Wagelmans symbolizing the glory of the flourishing industry of wool in Verviers.
The Merchant of Ploquettes was a representative of wool, he spent his days spinning in card room to present samples of wool wrapped in rolls of blue paper.
