This is one of the likestocanoe gang's favorite places to camp, so we wanted to share it with our fellow cachers. Cowhide Cove Campground is located on Lake Greeson near Murfresboro. In the campground, there is a short nature trail for you to enjoy. The campground has 50 sites with electric hookups. Other amenities include a dump station, hot showers, full facilities, a boat ramp, a playground, and a swim beach. The lake is approximately 12 miles long normally with 7260 surface acres of water for fishing, skiing, boating, and other water sports. There are a number of unique landmarks that can be seen well my boat. Bald eagles are an attraction for visitors each winter. We saw one on the day we placed this cache in the campground. In addition to a number of bald eagles, we have seen flocks of geese at this spot one of our trips here. During the warmer months use care just in case Mr. No Shoulders is hiding somewhere near. You never can tell where that sneaky snake might be... You are searching for a baby soda bottle hidden in a very geocaching manner. We hope that you this cache and will reward us with a great log.
