The land to the west of the old road bed, as well as the road bed
further out from the cache location, is private property owned by
someone else. Please do not explore west or south of a reasonable
distance from ground zero. You need to approach this cache from the
north. The amount of work needed to cut the road through this rock
hill, seems now to have been wasted. But was it? One of the
proposals to finish highway 29 as a 'freeway', is to revert highway
O back to it's original route here, with an overpass across highway
29.
I've placed a large ammo box here, amongst the rocks, packed
with nice trading items, including kids shirt/hat combinations from
Gander Mountain, collected from my 4 years of geocache shopping. It
seems that I find too many things to place into other caches,
especially with all the micro caches out there. This is the cache
I'm placing that you can bring the kids or newbie cachers along, to
show what a 'treasure hunt' this can be. You are not required to
trade evenly. Take more value than you leave, but still trade on a
1 for 1 basis! Please post your trades online so I know when to
restock.
