Hidden Beach Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

StamStars: It is with regret that we are archiving this wonderful cache - in recent years the cache has been muggled too frequently for us to persist with it, so that's that.
Maybe we will re-activate a new cache here in the future, but for now it is too much hassle.
Thank you for all those who found, signed and replaced the cache (cachers or accidental finds) and special thanks for the favourite points awarded (19 favs is pretty good we reckon!).
Hope you can enjoy our other caches in the area!

Geocache Description:

This is another one of our little treasures and we weren't sure if we really wanted to share this jewel, but trust that our geocaching friends will keep this special spot from nosy muggles...

To get in, follow the narrow track down to the beach, you should get to GZ reasonably dry, which a low tide will help, but it is possible to get there at high tide too. Once you are at GZ enter into the dark (does your GPS have a torch function?) until you hit the wall. Take 5 paces NNE (right) and you will be within reach of the cache, which is hidden behind some obvious rocks.

PLEASE TAKE CARE TO RE-HIDE THE CACHE WELL, as it appears there is a growing muggle presence in the area. Only a couple of weeks after the last find in July 2016 the cache contents was scattered throughout the cave.
The container was also chewed, as it had some chocolates and lollies in it... please don't leave anything edible here!

While the rating may put you off, our 5yr old enjoyed the hike and we carried our 8mhts old in when first hiding it, so it really isn't too rough :-)

Park at S34 56.206 E118 10.909 and walk the short track in. We have permission to WALK through private property to the cache BUT NOT TO DRIVE hence the request to park at the road. The track to the beach starts at S34 56.217 E118 10.992

There is camping and great fishing at nearby Betty's Beach, Norman's or Two Peoples Bay East, so take a break and enjoy the area.
