Geocache Description:

Where you are standing used to be the location for the Dixie Gardens Drive-In and Ice Bowl. The movie screen was viewable from the expressway, which probably caused many traffic accidents when nosey drivers or passengers caught a glimpse of the occasional racy flick. Opened in 1947 and demolished in 1988. It was definitely a hot spot when I went to high school. Do you have any interesting memories to tell?
