Do not remove the trackable in Stage 1 as you
need it to help you get the final coordinates. Discover

Pay close attention to the attributes of this cache. This cache
should not be attempted at night, and it is not a short cache.
Google estimates the "Drive Time" to be about 2 hrs. This does not
include the nice hike you will have going for the final.
Well, it's not a pure Road Trip Cache as that would involve
nothing but drive up caches at road side turnouts, and that would
not make for a good multi cache. This cache will involve driving,
walking, hiking, and perhaps a bit of mountain climbing. Or at
least they are mountains compared to what the rest of Southern
Saskatchewan is like. This is a 6 stage cache, other than the final
which is an ammo can (and a large one at that), the rest of the
stages are Micros and Smalls. All stages follow the RACECAR rules
regarding evergreen trees.
Each stage will have you collect numbers. They will be used to
determine the location of the final cache.
The posted coordinates put you at Stage 1 located in Pense.
A small village(?) about 25 minutes away from Regina. You can
get there using the back roads if you just travel west on Dewdney
Avenue and keep on going. With economic growth in Regina leading to
higher house prices, some people are instead living in the smaller
communities where they can get their money's worth when it comes to
their house. Some also might say the quality of life is better when
you actually know all your neighbours. You can
learn the value of "A" using the trackable in this stage. DO NOT
MOVE THE TRACKABLE - DISCOVER ONLY.
Stage 2 will put you in another community that you often pass on
your way to Calgary. This community's name will
help you determine the answer to "B".
Stage 3 takes you down a walking path with houses on the North,
and not much to the South. Inside Stage 3's canister are two sets
of coordinates. One is where you will find Stage 4, the other takes
you near a sign post. Look at the blue sign. The
number of lower case letters minus the number of uppercase letters
will give you "C".
Stage 4 brings you to another community where many of Regina's
employees and business owners live. In this area, you can enjoy a
long walk with your caching partner. Nearby the container is a play
structure. Determine the bearing from this stage
to a nearby cache. It is "3D2" degrees.
Stage 5 is in a community that features an annual aquatic race.
Raising money for local causes, it brings people from all around
for the fun, prizes, carnival, and a parade. It makes for one big
party that covers the town. While at this stage determine the
bearing and distance to GC18BGW
(Q. R. Crossing). The distance you have to
travel is "EF8" meters, and the bearing is "GH4" degrees. (It is
possible that E and/or G could be 0).
Stage 6 is the final stage. It's been a long trip to reach this
location, and now you have a hike ahead of you. Watch out for
ticks, thorns, steep hills, possibly muddy paths (or no paths), and
wildlife of all sizes, shapes, and smells. There is a spider's nest
in the area, but unless new ones have moved near the cache, it
shouldn't bother you.
