When in Waimea, turn right on HWY 550. Go about 4.5 miles towards Koke'e. There are places to park above and below the cache site. Please be careful and make sure you are parked off of the road. The terrain is fairly easy and the cache is on the other side of the creek. Watch out for the muggles.
I've replaced the cache. I hope it will take "root" where it is and never wash away again. Look for a lone tree/shrub in the middle of nothing. I usually approach it from the left. The steep dry soil can be hard to climb. When you get to the base of the tree dig about an inch into the soil on the side of the tree that is away from the road.
