Got a GPS that is just sitting around collecting dust becuase you don't know what to do with it or get one for Christmas and need help navigating your way around? The TWC Geocache Club will be hosting a Basic GPS/Geocaching Seminar on Saturday, February 27, 2010, for those who are new to gps/geocaching and for those who may need a little help with some of the new technology that goes along with it. We will do a little instructing, but we will allow plenty of time for questins and answers. This seminar is open to all.
The class will start at 9:30AM and run till noon.
Bring your own GPS unit and palm pilots if you have them. There will be a few gps units available for your use if needed. If you are interested in GSAK and paperless caching, bring your laptop if you have one.
There is no charge for the seminar. Pre-registration is not required, but would be helpful so we can get an idea of how many are planning to attend. Plus, if the weather turns nasty and the Center has to close, we will contact those that we have phone numbers or e-mail addresses for.
Donuts and coffee will be provided.
