picassoL: There has been an increase in logs indicating even more people sleeping in this park, hanging around, etc. Thought archiving this one would be best to make sure no one goes caching in an area where they don't feel comfortable.
Went out to retrieve the container today and there were no less than 10 folks lingering on the benches. Amazingly, they knew exactly what I was looking for and helped me retrieve it. It was great to hear them all talk about knowing it was there, and several of them were explaining to the others what the cache actually was. It was pretty awesome to hear a couple of them ask to have it left there, I think they were quite enjoying watching over the cache and being part of the geocaching experience. Amazing this lasted for nearly three years and 200 finds without any loss of a container considering so many people knew it was there. It was a great last moment with this cache.
Thanks to everyone who found this cache. I'd guess that if someone else wants to use this space, their cache would be well protected. :)
