Geocaching NSW invites all members and non-members to join us in
a clean up of the Bonnie Vale campground, close to the township of
Bundeena in Royal National Park.
Due to the current restrictions on geocaching in NSW National
Parks, this is a strictly 'Trash Out' event (i.e. no
geocaching).
You can also register on the Clean
Up Australia website.
The clean up starts at 10 am 10:30 am and
finishes at 12 noon.
Ensure you bring gloves, sunscreen, sensible clothing and
footwear, water and a camera.
There is no charge for entering Royal NP, but you must travel to
Bundeena - i.e. no stopping and heading out for a walk.
The nearest parking space is located close to the Bundeena shops
and ferry terminal.
Alternatively, park at Cronulla and catch a ferry across to
Bundeena - see Cronulla
Ferries website.
This event has been organised in co-operation with Ranger Damien
Dubrowin from the Royal National Park.
The association believes this and future co-operative projects
will assist in developing a good relationship between geocachers
and the NSW Parks and Wildlife Service.
BTW - bring your lunch and swimmers as there is a great beach
nearby.
Geocaching NSW is also hosting another Clean Up Australia Day
CITO event at William Lawson
Reserve, Blacktown.
