The Hike or Bike series is intended to provide a cache where you can get out and walk, bike or roller blade and enjoy the beautiful waterfront trail. This is the 14th cache in this series, which will head in a westerly direction.
Across the Rouge
The coordinates listed are for the first Waypoint. Parking is located close to this spot and this is also the western access point into Petticoat Creek Conservation area from the waterfront trail. You may want to take a walk into the park and look for some of the other caches located here.
You will also be passing an earth cache as you travel along the waterfront trail so make sure you bring a camera as the views are spectacular.
Stage # 1
At the published coordinates you will need to pay ATTENTION to find three numbers. Take the sum of these numbers and multiply it by 11. Add 9 to get AAA. Subtract AAA from the posted north coordinate to get the new North coordinate for the second stage.
Take the original sum of the three numbers. Multiply by 5 and subtract 3 to get a two digit number = BB.
Insert this number in the west coordinate W 079 07.0BB
Stage # 2
You are looking for a micro canister with the coordinates for the third stage. This location has high muggle traffic so be stealthy while looking.
Stage # 3
Look for a sign with a three digit number in the bottom left corner. Subtract 42 from this number and multiply by 2 to get CCC.
Take the original three digit number, multiply by 2 and add 24 to get DDD.
Final cache is at N 43 47.CCC W 079 07.DDD
