Geocache Description:

Kikuta Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Tsudanuma, Narashino-shi, Chiba. The back of the Shinto shrine becomes the park of the waterfowl, and it is said to the source of a river of a certain pond with Ninomiya Shinto shrine of Miyama in a site.
Because a shoreline was near to the present land as for the ancient in low land in this area, there seems to be the student who supposes it when it may have been a wharf.

菊田神社は、千葉県習志野市津田沼にある神社です。神社の裏は水鳥の公園になっており、敷地内にある池の水源は三山の二宮神社と言われています。
この地域は低地で古代（古墳時代）は海岸線が今の陸地に近かったため、船着き場だったのではないかと推測する研究家もいるそうです。
