Hanging With Flannelman Traditional Cache
QuartzCachers: I really hate to archive this series of caches, because they each represent a friendship that I have made over the years. However, there are just too many to maintain from so far away, so I'll archive the caches and keep the memories.
Happy Caching!

The first in a series.
This is a new series of caches that honor other cachers that I know, and have hung out with, thus “Hanging With”. Most are baby coke bottles, but there may be a surprise or two thrown in.
Initially, these caches are placed along the Weyerhaeuser Mainhaul Road, between Arkansas state highways 298 and 7. This road runs from Highway 192 to Paron, in Saline County. It was owned and used by Weyerhaeuser back in the day, to get their trucks from any point to the east to the mill at Mt. Pine. Using these roads, the trucks could get all the way to the mill, without running on any publicly owned roads. This way, the trucks could be overweight and not be at risk for a ticket. Now these roads are used by the general public, and Weyerhaeuser Road 30,000 is now State Highway 192. This road is still called the main haul road, and it just looked like a great place to put some caches. It will take you through some countryside with clearcuts, forest, mountain views and maybe a glimpse of some different types of wildlife.
The area is used heavily by hunting clubs, and they control most all of the land around this road. The month of November would not be a good time to do this series, as there will be muggles galore, and they will be running up and down this road like they own it.
This series, is for the most part, easily reached from places that require no bushwhacking. However, this is still the South, and it is outdoors. There will be eight legged, six legged, four legged, two legged, and no legged varmits, that inhabit the area, and all precautions shuld be taken to avoid these, as well as the many prickly, and poison plants that are abundant here as well.
All that being said, Y’all have fun! I have done my best to get accurate coords here, but my GPS and yours will probably not match up very often. That’s part of the fun. I have provided good clues that should be helpful. Use these along with some geosense, and you should have no problems with these. If there is one that is off by a bunch, I will get it fixed ASAP.
This cache honors my friend flannelman. His cache “Ouachita Pinnacle” GCVZHE, was my first cache find, and because of the way we attacked it, it was a VERY memorable cache for us! LOL!
Flannelman is a great guy, and has taught me a lot about geocaching. Please say all the nice things about him that you can in your log. He deserves it!
