"Will you be mine forever?"
This was the question I (andboyfriend) asked my now wife (gods_lil_bug) at this very spot. We started dating in Jan. 2009, a month later she introduced me to geocaching. This spot held an old cache called "Show Me Da Money". As you can see, it's no longer here. It was a cache with coins from around the world in a gatorade powder container. She took one from Japan but soon after lost it. In May, we were hanging with a friend (kels) at the Palouse Mall and I told her what was going to happen and for her to take pictures. I convinced gods_lil_bug that we should show kels what a geocache was and that she could get another coin to replace the one she lost. Little did she know that before we left when I said I had to "go to the bathroom" that I had snuck around to place the ring in the container and pray it didn't get stolen. We ran through the mall and around Winco and gods_lil_bug opened the container to find the ring and I asked her, "Will you be mine forever?" Six months later we got married!! And now we have replaced the old cache with our own to tell our story :)
PS: I also asked her dad permission in the same area. Just a coincidence though :)
