Geocache Description:

Make sure you use lots of stealth with this one - muggles abound!!! You seek a small container with log and swag placed for all of you who (like me) ever wondered what the heck the King of the Jungle has to do with what we eat every day.

According to Lew Powell in his excellent book, On This Day in North Carolina (1996 John F. Blair, Publisher) The Salisbury, NC based Food Lion chain of grocery stores was originally named Food Town, until conflicts arose with another chain of stores in Tennessee and Virginia that were also named Food Town. Chairman Ralph Ketner - famed for his tight-fistedness - chose the new name of Food Lion because it required changing only two letters on the stores' marquees.
