The main access path is part of the walk from Torwood to Denovan (or Larbert).
The following are all public right of ways.
Torwood Village (the shortest access). Parking a few hunderd meters off Glen Road.
From Denovan. No real suitable car parking.
From the Old Denny Road in Larbert (the longest access). You could encounter much mud in the middle part of this route.
Access to the cache is via a large clearing in the woods. First find the pool and then look for the cache. There is normally a visible track to the pool.
The pool is a bit of a mystery. Approximately 6 meters wide and 4 meters deep. Actual reason for existance is currently unknown. Your own thoughts would be welcome on what its purpose might have been. Please add your suggestion ( if you have one) to the log. Please be careful around this pool.
The cache is located the same distance in from the path as the centre of the pool is from the path. The cache is not out in the open and can be found on the ground.
Please be gentle when searching for its resting place, and be careful to leave the surroundings as is for the next person.
Access may be more difficult in the summer time due to more growth of folliage in the open area.
