Die Sonne macht es für uns schön warm und erwärmt auch das Wasser in den Seen, Flüssen und Meeren. Dabei bildet sich Wasserdampf, der direkt in den Himmel steigt. Der Wasserdampf ist für uns unsichtbar.

Da es im Himmel viel kälter als auf der Erde ist, werden aus dem Wasserdampf wieder Wassertropfen. Diese Tropfen stehen alle ganz dicht zusammen und bilden eine Wolke. Die könnt Ihr dann wieder sehen.

In der Wolke sammeln sich immer mehr Wassertropfen. Es wird immer enger – bis die Wolke platzt. aqualani und seine Freunde fallen als Regen, Schnee oder Hagel zurück auf die Erde. Dort versickern sie tief im Erdboden bis sie auf eine Schicht aus ___ und ___ stoßen. Das Wasser kommt dort nicht durch und sammelt sich. Das nennt man dann Grundwasser. An vielen Stellen kommt das Wasser wieder an die Erdoberfläche – zum Beispiel als Quelle. Es füllt Bäche, Flüsse oder Meere, wird von der Sonne erwärmt und alles fängt von vorne an

When water is heated, it evaporates. It is like that: You put a pot with water and heat it, after awhile the water evaporates, steam is rising.
The earth is like a furnace, it radiates heat, it heats the water of rivers, oceans etc. and water evaporates.When you move away from a furnace it is getting colder.
The earth heats the atmosphere and when you are moving away from it, it is getting colder. Moist air is pushed upwards, being cooled and clouds are formed as the vapour begins to condense on a surrounding nuclei ( a nuclei is a tiny dust particle, there are millions and millions dust particles in the atmosphere). Tiny droplets are formed. Moving upwards they are getting bigger and bigger and finally transformed into liquid or ice, it snows or rains. The rain falls into oceans, rivers, houses etc. or sweeps away in the ground up to an impervious stratum, appears on the surface again, water evaporates, clouds are formed etc.
