Kobe is a lively Japanese city, not far from Osaka and the site of the Great Hanshin Earthquake. in 1995. It lies sandwiched between the mountains and the sea. (and was my home for 2 years)
The cache is hidden on a walking trail near the Nunobiki Herb koen (park) you can either walk up the mountain from Shin Kobe station, or if you want to take the easy route you can use the Shin Kobe Ropeway / cable car (1000 yen). On your way up the mountain look out for the magnificent waterfall, and the clear waters of the city reservior and pumping station.
The Herb Garden contains many species of plants and trees, as well as a glass house. From here you will get a fantastic view of the city, and of the two largest man-made islands. (Port & Rokko Island). The cache contains many things japanese but also a very special traveller, Gulliver Bear (Gulliver has since moved from this cache, so check the website for more details). He has travelled all the way from England, and wants to travel the world. (please see www.gulliverbear.co.uk for details)
Please only take Gulliver if you can place him into a diffrent cache.
