Geocache Description:

The cache is a small lunchbox that contains a log book,pen and a few small swops and is at the roadside. Park on the cement laneway 100yds up on opposite side and take care as this is a busy road.

Do NOT enter the school or climb the fence as it is private property.

The first part of the name of this school is illegible but I saw the name Carmanus on a map nearby.

Does anyone know anymore about the school?

Why not do this cache as part of a walk/cycle starting at Carrickfergus Castle and finishing at Ballycarry where you could catch a train back to Carrickfergus. Estimated distance from Carrickfergus Castle to Ballycarry is 7-8 miles.
