The cache is located on the Minnesota River Bluffs LRT Regional Trail between Eden Prairie and Chaska. You can get on the trail at the trailhead in Chaska on Bluff Creek Drive.
The trail is crushed gravel and is an easy not quite a mile hike each way. The trail is an old railroad line. It is winter friendly in that the trail is often plowed or packed by use, not winter friendly as you will still need to leave the trail for the last little bit and get in the snow (when there is snow).
The cache is just off the trail in the thick underbrush. It has gone missing many times so the hide isn't exactly clever but it isn't immediately visible to the non-initiated.
