Bonc Uchaf, a Qi cache. Traditional Cache
Mab-afradlon: seems this has become a popular place lately so there's every chance that this would be trashed again if I renewed it. It's a pity because I put in a fair bit of work to make it an interesting cache. Ah well, I've found a better spot with little chance of it being muggled so it's goodbye to this one.

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The terrain is not challenging once you reach the trail head, this is the old quarry so it is high up. The cache shouldn't be too hard to find, just a few stones cover it.
Although this area is often visited, please remember that it is an old quarry so treat it as you would a mountain range. Take note of the weather and avoid visiting in thick cloud.
This location is high up with great views of the Menai straits, Anglesey and back towards the Carneddau; a good place to bring binoculars. The cache itself is a (aprox) 2 litre plastic container containing some goodies, a log book, pencils and sharpener. Why Bonc Uchaf? The quarrymen usually named each level and this one was Top Bank (further east is Bonc Grug=Heather Bank) Why Qi? I hope you will find the cache quite or at least a bit interesting.
I can't advocate any parking spots although I have driven my Peugeot(107) up to N 53*15.322 W 003*57.147. However I must warn you this is a rough road and it would be at your own risk. There is a wide area lower down where some people park and walk up to pick up the footpath. N 53*15.164 W 003*56.443 This can be reached from the Happy Boy series as well, about 20 minutes walk from Ble Mae'r Gordd Happy Boy.
Finally, it's not at ground level and please leave the laminated items behind.
