Another watercraft cache.
Cache is placed at the top end of a beautiful mangrove creek. cache can only be accessed via watercraft of some sort, at a tide of 2m. (Cache was placed on a tide of 1.95 [Brisbane Bar] and the canoe was skimming the bed.
The location is a shady mangrove glade, on a high tide you will be able to explore around amongst all the trees.
You will need a mozzie repellent of some sort.
Recommended launch sites:
Dholes Rocks - This is the recommended launch site if the water is rough, as it is the most sheltered journey. Has shop for refreshments on return journey inc take away.
Brighton Park - Short paddle accross the river. Can be pretty rough crossing if windy. Shortest distance.
Deepwater Bend - If you want to take in several caches along a route. At time of publishing this, there are 2 other caches en route to this one.
There is intentionally NO LOGBOOK in the cache. Please do not place one inside. There is an info sheet in the cache with some info on the area, plus acknowledgement of First to Find honours.
