Geocache Description:

This tupperware cache is along one of our family's favorite walks--and a good place for a rest along that walk. The logbook is marked "Poets Walk Gazebo".

Enjoy! from the Dubulskuls

The Poets' Walk landscape garden (open 9am to dusk) was frequented by Washington Irving, the writer of "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and "Rip Van Winkle" responsible for introducing the name "Gotham" for NYC, the expression "the almighty dollar", and Knickerbocker, originally as a fictional Dutch historian in NYC. He also introduced the idea of St. Nicholas flying from rooftop to rooftop in a flying wagon.
