The “When Life Gives You Lemons” is a series of six Geocaches. Cache is a small traditional cache containing only a log book. Bring your own writing instrument. Cache placed with a Tim Horton’s coffee card so first to find can have a coffee or lemon tea on me!
Everyone’s heard it at one point in their life… “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Who was the original author though? Grandma? Your Great Uncle Freddie? Teacher you had in grade 2? It seems to be one of those quotes that just has entered public consciousness and is pervasive. Strangely enough though, the origin of the famous saying hasn’t been lost yet. Dale Carnegie was the man who coined the phrase though he’s mostly known for writing the famous book “How to win friends and influence people.” Of course, everything slowly gets out of context eventually, so why not update the phrase to our modern times?
This statement is often misunderstood or misinterpreted, But it can be fun! To me “When Life Gives You Lemon’s” simply means that I will attempt to turn all obstacles into opportunities!
