Geocache Description:

Ridley Park was created on land handed over by Viscount Matthew White Ridley and was opened on 27 July 1904. In June 2005, a £602,000 regeneration project was completed, which saw the installation of a children's water play area and upgrading of existing play facilities at the southern end of the park.

Facilities include toddler play area, bowling green, tennis courts, toilets, extensive grass areas, adventure play park, seating areas and plenty of walkways.

Situated close to beach and promenade, quayside and Blyth town centre.
