A regular cache located in
Conaway Run Lake WMA. Hike isn't too long but you will do some
bushwhacking.
Conaway Run Lake WMA totals about 630 acres including a 30 acre
lake. The WMA is used for hunting, fishing, and has a primitive
campground with 10 campsites. Construction of the lake began in
1961 and was completed in 1964 and only had a total of 339 acres
for the WMA. In 1989, an additional 291 acres were purchased for
wildlife management and hunting. Area is predominately bottomland
and rolling hills with low ridges. There is a trail around the lake
but it is pretty overgrown.
Congratulations to Cteam on the FTF!
