djpd1023 Is a Illinois Geocaching friend of mine. I was Planning an trip to Sandwich Illinois for my Mother In Law's Class Renuion and decided to fit in some Geocaching. I had emailed him for a hint on one of his puzzles when this journey unfolded. We made arrangements to meet and do two of the local Whereigo's of the locally famous Teachermike I left my hotel at 5 a.m. and started to make my way through the dense fog. Finally after an hour drive I arrived at the destination. A wonderful Donnut Shop. There I met djpd1023. We briefly discussed the game plan and were off. As we walked through downtown Joliet experiencing the first Whereigo in Illinois Downtown Joliet is Where I Go The fog finally lifted. At the final GZ Teachermike arrived and greeted us. Wow what a wonderful experience meeting the CO and being able to discover his wonderful vision. We signed the log and were off to the second Whereigo My Dog Goes Where I Go or help Me Find Rex by Teachermike. On the way we compared notes of different cache hides and ideas and discovered a lot of differences. We then started talking about the different ideas for puzzles. He told me about the puzzle days when there wasn't a solution checker for a puzzle. That must have been really tough going. Some people prefer to check their solution with Geochecker While others prefer to use Geo Check You can validate your puzzle solution with Certitude as well. Certain puzzle makers also prefer different solution checkers. I wonder why? Most of my caching days have had a variety of all of the above. djpd1023 recently discovered a new type of solution checker and with the permission of the idea man himself I thought I would share it with you.
