Geocache Description:

You are looking for a Nano cache hidden in the area of Thurmaston Locks.

The Thurmaston Locks are located on Watermead Park, Thurmaston. You can reach them from any Watermead car park, the closest one is Mill Lane, Thurmaston. Due to the location of this cache, care should be taken with children around the water edges. Locks are not fenced!

This stretch of the Grand Union Canal opened in february 1796. The new accessible footbridge opened in 2010, so now wheelchair users can enjoy the park.

The Nano cache contains a small log for you to initial. Please remember your pen!
