Geocache Description:

Short description:

The cache is to celebrate 100 years of
Girlguiding and is adjacent to Sandy Acres Girlguiding camp site.

Long Description:

This cache was placed to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 1st Scout Rally at Crystal Palace where Robert Baden Powell (the founder) was asked for "something for the girls".

In keeping with the Guiding theme it has been placed adjacent to the Sandy Acres Girlguiding camp site by the Hampshire East Girlguiding Senior Section.

The cache is a small plastic lock container with the name on top. It contains Girlguiding swaps and centenary items. Please keep to the Girlguiding theme and record your memories in the logbook.

This is a classic cache and dash and is only a few metres from a narrow country road. Please park somewhere sensible and walk to the cache, mindful of traffic. Guides staying at Sandy acres can easily access from the campsite.
