This is the first of my Space themed caches. This cache has a log book, pen, and has enough room for a few small travel bugs...oh, and there is a nice FTF prize! This cache is not located in Alum Springs park, but rather just on the other side of the creek. The best place to park is on Greenbrier Drive, right across the pool on the left side of the road. This road is the same that leads into Alum Springs. From this point, which route you take, determines the terrain difficulty. If you enter directly through the woods, you will end up hiking quite a bit, however, if you walk through the apartment parking lot, there is a gap between the buildings that leads down by the creek, and is much easier.
While hiking through this area, I found a small waterfall and had to cross over several streams.
The Big Bang is the most scientifically accepted cause of the creation of the universe. This event happened approximately 13.3 to 13.9 billion years ago causing the universe to expand to its current size of about 90 billion light years across, and still expanding.
