Geocache Description:

This is a three-stage offset geocache located in the woods between Olcott and Sherwood Oaks Parks. All three stages are within a short walking distance of one another.

What is acrylonitrile butadiene styrene? It’s the material from which all great things are made… it flows through us, binding all elements of the universe together in perfect harmony. In short, it’s the plastic from which Legos are made. Like all great developments in human history the discovery of ABS was preceded by a few lesser, but still important milestones… the first use of stone tools, the implementation of paper to record and develop critical ideas, etc.

And thus with this short history lesson we have introduced our game, a familiar one but not without a twist… not “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” but rather “Rock, Paper, Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene.” This is a three-stage cache, with the coordinates for the second cache to be discovered in the first, and the coordinates for the final cache to be discovered in the second. Only the final cache is intended for logging and trading.

This cache is placed in celebration of our first year geocaching. Averaging over a cache a day, caching in the dark, over land and water (And many a briar patch), through rain and snow… Who says this geocaching business isn’t addicting?

Insisting that our other hides were "too easy," Imperial Trooper #4 designed this three stage hide as a challenge for even the most skilled cacher… it had to be in this heavily-travelled, and occasionally paint-balled, area (Beware of muggles… or as we refer to them “rebel spies”). We encourage you to park at Olcott Park, and please, please, please respect private property… and please carefully return all elements of this caching adventure to the original state. While you are in Imperial territory, be sure to check out our other two nearby caches, Imperial Night Game and Galac-brick Baseplate.

Have fun, and may the Force be with you… always.

Congrats to Sk1pee77 on the FTF!
