Frosty's Cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

OzarksJim: Time to archive this nearly 5-year old cache that hasn't been found much recently. However, I think this area will see a LOT more caching activity in the near future :)

Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden near, but not exactly on, the Frisco Highline Trail in Willard, Missouri. The trail is open during daylight hours only. Park at N 37° 17.594 W 093° 24.554

To find this cache, you will need to figure out what the corresponding numbers are for each of the percentages below, then do some simple math to get the coordinates. Note: The numbers you are looking for are whole integers (i.e., they don't have decimals).
  • A. 100% (corresponding number = G)
  • B. 91.75% (corresponding number = H)
  • C. 75% (corresponding number = I)
  • D. 58.5% (corresponding number = J)
  • E. 50.25% (corresponding number = K)
  • F. 42% (corresponding number = L)

  • M = G - 20
  • N = H - 13
  • O = I - 18
  • P = J - 10
  • Q = K - 11
  • R = L - 2

Final coords are:
N 37° 17.MNO
W 093° 24.PQR

You might have to do a little bushwhacking to get to this cache. However, if you take the right approach from the parking spot you won't have to do much bushwhacking at all.

The cache is a small juice container wrapped in camouflage tape. The hiding spot should be fairly obvious once you get to ground zero, although there are a few places where it could be hidden in the immediate area surrounding ground zero.

The only contents in the cache are a logbook inside a Ziploc bag. Bring your own writing utensil. Please be sure when you are finished that you do NOT stuff the logbook and Ziploc bag so far down in the container that the next cacher cannot get them out. Also, please replace the cache EXACTLY as you found it.

Several people were the inspiration for this cache, and I've listed them below.

  • S.E. Hinton, along with Ponyboy and Johnny
  • Robert Frost
  • Stevie Wonder
  • Scott Adams, the illustrator of the daily Dilbert calendar, where I recently got the idea for this puzzle cache

Hints will not be provided until the FTF is claimed. If you solve this cache, please do not list how you figured them out. Thanks!

Good luck!
