The concept is supposed to be everything is recycled, and almost everything is. The container is a former plastic pretzel jar, measuring 12" high x 7" in diameter. It contains items I've collected in my GeoCaching travels, each one labeled with the name of the cache where I picked it up, the general location, the name of the hider if known, and the date I retrieved it. You are welcome to trade your recycled treasures for mine, labeled or not.
It also contains a Traveller, recycled to Travel Bug status. And finally the location of the cache was supposed to be recycled, a tribute to Rockilin Doc's Cycle Time cache, which I believed to be retired. Oops!
When planted this cache contained:
- A G.I.Joe from Iva-Kay Each-Bay at Lake Tahoe'
- A Magnetic Therapy Bracelet from Pot of Gold in Sacramento,
- A Small Smiley Ball (and cards) from Kid Cache in Palo Alto,
- An Alladin Lamp Incense Burner from Jenni's Prison Hill in Carson City,
- A Purple Dragon from Squirrels Stash in Stockton,
- A Tweezer/Magnifying Glass from In The Rough in Rancho Cordova,
- A CHP "Chipper" Flasher from Cache on a Stick in Sacramento,
- Harry Potter Stones from Maidu Cache in Roseville,
- A Happy Face Squeeze Ball from Junction Tree in Citrus Heights,
- A GeoCaching.com Compass Key Ring from Romans II near somewhere,
- A Mini-Fan from Historic City in Sacramento,
- A Magnifying Glass from Abby's Oakgrove in Rancho Cordova,
- A Pocket Knife and Pouch from Jack Rabbit in Sacramento,
- A Skeleton from Halloween Hunt starting near Folsom,
- A U.S.Flag from American Beauty near Reno,
- Lip Balm could be from almost any cache I have touched, and,
- Buzz Buzzby, a Traveller and new Travel Bug, most recently from Happy Trails 2 You in Roseville.
Plus the usual GeoCache Notice, Log Book, and Pens.
Thanks to all who contributed to this cache with their treasures, and to Mike and Connie who planted the seed. See, even the idea is recycled!
And apologies to Rocklin Doc and his Cycle Time.
