This quilt square is on the side of the Appalachian Arts Craft Center, just off of I-75 at the Norris – Clinton exit and across the road from the Museum of Appalachia (where Appalachian Origins is placed). Originally known as the Community Crafts Center, the organization dates to 1970. This is the hub of the arts and crafts in the Norris – Clinton area. One may come here to meet and greet the artists, or to take a variety of classes. Members jury their work into the center, and then may display them in the store. The cache is a camo-taped prescription bottle, with room for small swag and a log. BYOP, please. It is set off to the side of the building, so the quilt square is in view, and it is in a less muggle-prone area.
