I placed this cache prior to the event so there was an easy one
to seak out.
As part of the rules of geocaching I had to get the landowners
permission for the hides in State Forests.
About a week went by after the hide when I emailed the cache
coordinates to the Park Rangers for their approval. Their response
was - during a controlled burn "We did burn a small piece last
Thursday that may have impacted the ammo can by the trailhead East
of park drive."
Upon checking out the cache the Ranger found that it was indead
burned-over, but the cache and contents survived.
Hence the name.
