Geocache Description:

The cache getts its name from Gordon Lightfoots song "SUNDOWN". The song is originally from Lightfoots album "Sundown".

Sundown is Gordon Lightfoot's 10th original album, released in 1974 on the Reprise Records label. The album reached #1 on the pop chart, the first and only of Lightfoot's albums to achieve this.

The album marked the pinnacle of Lightfoot's acoustic folk-country blend before he embarked on an increasing use of electronic instruments, although Lightfoot did include some electric guitar, notably on the title track.

As for singles, the title track reached #1 on the pop and adult contemporary charts as well as #13 on the country chart, while "Carefree Highway" reached #10 on the pop chart, #1 on the adult contemporary chart and #81 on the country chart.I plan to name all my caches after this great Canadian icon, so long as the area remotely resembles the text of the song.

The cache is a lock and lock container covered in camo. I have included a pic of the cache as it looked when first placed.

Please log all attempts. Please place cache back as found to make winter friendly.

I hope to see many travel bugs pass in and out of this cache.
