This cache has been archived.

isht kinta: Since the cache owner has not responded to my reviewer log about the cache, nor did they post a note to the cache page telling me and others of their intention to address the issue with it, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to the cache page requesting the cache owner to post a response on what they were planning to do with the cache. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that they are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

This is the second of my three-cache Slap Stick series. When I was in high school and even during my early years of college, my brother buoybob and I played a lot of street hockey with our buddies from high school and church. It was probably the most fun I've ever had in my life, and I have a ton of great memories of playing street hockey with the boys.

Each of the three caches in this series was placed at a memorable street hockey location, and the series represents the progression of our involvement with the sport.

This second cache is located at a larger basketball court behind Claiborne Hill where we played after we outgrew the small court near First Baptist Church. Not sure how we discovered this place, but I know that a couple of my buddies that played with us lived in the neighborhood, so maybe they introduced us to it. Considering the size of this court compared to the first, it was a big step up for us. We also upgraded our goals from trash cans to grocery buggies wrapped around the basketball goals--much sturdier! One of the memories that sticks out in my mind the most about playing here is hopping the fence behind Claiborne Hill when we were ready to take a break, skating on up to the front of the store and loading ice chests with 25 cent Nehi drinks from the RC Cola machine! Nothing spelled tummy ache better than downing two or three carbonated beverages after a couple of hours of grueling street hockey. Ha!

You are looking for a camo match case. Log only so bring your pen.
