Silk Kingdom #3 : Kanetaro Katakura, He was called "Silk Emperor".
This cache is a re-installation of Silk Kingdom #3 : Katakura Kan (GC1WKRN) that is my cache.
The European-style building in the presence of the cache point is a public bath "Katakura-kan".
There is a pond in the courtyard in the cache point, and it is not here cache.
Kanetaro Katakura the president and the second generation of the Katakura-gumi constructed Katakura-kan on the 50th anniversary of establishment.
The Katakura-gumi is a silk reeler company prosperous in the Suwa area.
It is influenced at the enhancement of a cultural welfare facilities, and having aspired is a start when Kanetaro does the study tour of Europe and America to build a cultural welfare facilities in Suwa after it returns home.
In the building completed in 1928, it is equipped fully with the large bathroom said, "Sennin Buro (1000 person bath)".
It is possible to enter the bathroom still though it is a cultural asset.
The designer is Matsunosuke Moriyama.
He is an architect who designed mainly the building of a lot of Taiwan at that time.
Founder Kentaro Katakura has developed Katakura Gumi from establishment to the silk reeler company.
Afterwards, the second generation Kentaro Katakura developed it into the financial clique.
It is a volume of exports and one large silk reeler company also in the whole country that was said Yokoduna.
The power of the Katakura-gumi purchased a government-run Tomioka silk reeler place.
The building of combination of Japanese and Western-style in the next of Katakurakan is attached facilities "Kaiko-kan".
It completed it in 1943 during the war.
It is donated to Suwa City after the war, and the Suwa City Museum of Art now.

このキャッシュは、自分のキャッシュである "Silk Kingdom #3 : Katakura Kan"(GC1WKRN) を再設置したものです。
キャッシュポイントの目の前にある洋館は「片倉館」という公衆浴場です。
キャッシュポイントには中庭の池があり、ここにはキャッシュはありません。
片倉館は、片倉組の社長、二代目片倉兼太郎が創立５０周年記念に建築しました。
片倉組は、諏訪地方で栄えた製糸会社です。
兼太郎が欧米の視察旅行を行った際に、文化福祉施設の充実ぶりに感化され、帰国後諏訪に文化福祉施設を作りたいと切望したのがきっかけです。
昭和３年に完成した建物で、「千人風呂」といわれる大浴場が完備されています。
文化財ですが現在でも浴場に入ることが出来ます。
設計者は森山松之助です。
彼は当時の数多くの台湾の建物を中心に設計した建築家です。
片倉組は、初代片倉兼太郎が起業から製糸会社に発展させました。
その後二代目片倉兼太郎が財閥に発展させました。
生産量で全国でも横綱といわれた一大製糸会社です。
片倉組の勢いは国営の富岡製糸場も買収するほどでした。
片倉館の隣にある、和洋折衷の建物は、付属施設「懐古館」です。
戦時中の昭和18年に完成しました。
戦後諏訪市に寄贈され、現在は諏訪市美術館になっています。
キャッシュの座標を求めるには、片倉館について調べたり片倉館や諏訪市美術館に訪れて貰う必要があります（お金を払って建物に入る必要はありません）。
