Welcome to one of the older and longer running Geocaches. A great walk along the park trails and then a little bush whacking to get to it. Go in from the park lot side, coming in off the street is cheating and no fun. :) You will spot deer, and the occasional muggle. Great Family cache, close enough to get to, but far enough in the park woods to make an adventure of it! Please make sure to rehide well.

Cache is hidden at ground level in a location reachable via a pleasant walk or bike ride, a little off the beaten path. Terrain is easy until the last eighth of a mile or so, at which point raccoons and deer will laugh at you as you pick your way around tallgrass and brambles and forget you're in Chicago. Nice legal on-street parking at N41 59.855, W87 46.020 and other locations.
