Klein St.Pauli

Dieser kleine Multi führt Euch in den Rotlichtbezirk und ins Zentrum des Zierfischhandels von Trier.
Zur Römerzeit befand sich hier der Marktplatz mit einem großen Triumphbogen, der die über die Moselbrücke ankommenden Kaufleute und Reisenden mit kaiserlicher Pracht empfing. Etwa im 9./10. Jahrhundert wurde der Hauptmarkt an seinen heutigen Ort in die Mitte der Stadt verlegt, der Flußhafen wanderte vom Irminenufer weiter nördlich in Richtung Römerbrücke. An das alte Hafenviertel erinnern heute noch der Name der ältesten Trierer Nachtbar, die Hafenmelodie, die hier abzweigende Dampfschiffstraße, das Zollamt sowie die sich am nahegelegenen Moselufer befindlichen alten Hafenkräne aus den Jahren 1413 und 1774, wovon Letzterer noch bis ins 20. Jahrhundert in Betrieb war.
Zum Ermitteln der Finalkoordinaten müßt Ihr Euch ein wenig auf der "Reeperbahn" von Trier umsehen:

Our first little multi leads you into the heart of the exotic fish business of Trier an as well the center of the red light district.
In ancient Roman times here used to be the market place with a huge triumphal arch which invited the incoming tradesmen and travellers with the glory of the emperor. Around the 9th/10th century the main market place moved from here to his actual place in the middle of the city, the old harbour moved from his fomer place near Irminenhof further north to the old Roman bridge. Some things remind us of the old harbour quarter as the name of the oldest nightbar in Trier, the "Hafenmelodie" (melody of the harbour), the "Dampfschiffstrasse" (steamboat street) and the old cranes at the nearby Mosel shore.
