A short bushwack through the woods to a babbling brook and a small waterfall. Geocache is an ammo can.
Take Endion Lane in Long Lake to the trailhead for Owl's Head mountain. This area is called Sargent Ponds Wild Forest. Park at N43 57.814 W074 27.168. If you bushwack from the parking lot you will have to cross 2 brooks. If you want to avoid the brooks, walk approximately 150 feet back along the road until you cross over the culvert; then enter the woods with the brook on your left.
This cache was set following the DEC guidelines Part 190: Use Of State Lands;
a geocache that is labeled with the owner's name and address and installed in a manner that does not disturb the natural conditions of the site or injure a tree.
