**** very accessible in the winter ***
The cache is called Just Add Ice because it was placed on "Hockey Day in Canada", and is most easily accessed during winter when there is ice thick enough to skate on.
It was placed on "Hockey Day in Canada" at a location in Pickering that accommodates 10 - 15 shinny hockey games at a time, and has been used by locals for many years.
Access to this cache is very easy in the winter; however at those times of the year when there is no ice, the terrain difficulty will be much more challenging as you will reed to use a canoe, or endure heavy bush whacking.
Congrats to the shared FTF by Skyecat, gpsDerek, and Entogeek. There was a Canadian $2 bill for the FTF.
WALL of FAME (wet water finds)
1) to Barnie's Band of Gold for the first wet access to the cache - this shows it can be done - well done Barnie!
2) to Lisdowney for the first canoe access.
3) to Lotus 49 for matching if not exceeding Barnies insanity
...... each of you inspire me.
