Geocache Description:

On Friday 22nd of January 2010, a number of dry lightning storms swept across South Australia. In the Delamere area 2 fires were started by lightning.



As part of the response to extinguish the fires, the Sturt CFS Group sent a strike team from Coromandel Valley, Blackwood, Eden Hills and Belair.

On the fire appliances that responded in the strike team were a couple of geocachers, firesafe and EmZee Wild'rs.

And what do cachers do while waiting to get down to firefighting - they look for a spot to hide a cache.

Finding this cache will allow you to see the scrub that burnt regenerate over time. Post some photos so that we can see the transformation.
