Geocache Description:

Built in 1856, Chokebore Lodge is one of the Christchurch's oldest domestic buildings.



For many generations, it has been associated with the racing industry but is now owned by the Christchurch City Council who are in the process of restoring the buildings and grounds.

The published co-ordinates take you to small information board outside the lodge, by the letter box, which will provide you with the information you need to find the co-ordinates.
