Geocache Description:

Built in 1856, Chokebore Lodge is one of the Christchurch's oldest domestic buildings.



For many generations, it has been associated with the racing industry but is now owned by the Christchurch City Council who are in the process of restoring the buildings and grounds.

The published co-ordinates take you to an information board outside the lodge. This board, as well as another smaller one about 10m NE (towards Yaldhurst Rd) will provide the answers needed.
