One of a series of eight caches associated with our local burn. All except the last are close to pedestrian crossing places and are generally easily accessible although mud can be a factor. As water is always nearby due care should be taken with children.
This cache is best approached from the railway station although it can be reached from Broomhaugh if you want a little more adventure. You should take GREAT care after heavy rain as the burn rises quickly and this area is prone to flooding. At such times DO NOT try the Broomhaugh route. Following replacement on 10/4/17 the cache is a small black bison - not likely to charge! 30/1/20 That bison may have charged after all so has been replaced with a camo one, firmly attached!Thehint has been expanded.
