Ramble over Ridge Traditional Cache

tanwillo: We have been out to check on the cache tonight, and sadly it has gone missing, due to the extremely overgrown brambles and gorse we have decided to archive the cache. Many thanks for all he lovely logs people have written, we have enjoyed reading them all!!!

Geocache Description:


The cache is placed in Ridge, a small village on the South bank of the River Frome.
Overlooking the Saxon town of Wareham with stunning views of the Purbeck hills.
Free parking is available in a layby in Barnhill Road co ords (N 50 40.643 W 002 05.739) Access to the cache is via a wooden stile, that gives you access onto the Ridge to Stoborough footpath.
The route to the cache is hilly but not a diffficult walk, parts of the walk could be muddy in the winter.
The cache is a 1.5 litre clip container, when placed had a FTF prize and was well stocked. Please ensure you trade fairly if you wish to trade!!
Please take care when retieving the cache, due to gorse and nettles, and when replacing please take care to hide as found.
