This cache is placed at Wykey Bridge over the River Perry near Ruyton XI Towns Shropshire. You are looking for a non standard micro container, containing logbook and pencil.
The River Perry is a tributary of the River Severn, which rises around Hengoed in Northwest Shropshire and enters the Severn about 2km downstream of Montford Bridge, also in Shropshire.
Perry Bridges is a series of caches on most public rights of way across the Perry up to Rednal Mill Bridge which is just below GCTJMD "Perry Trifle." Eventually we hope to reach up to GC13OZC "Splish Splash Hengoed" which is near the source of the Perry. (Completed late March 2010)
This cache has been positioned with surveying specification RTK GPS, which has an accuracy of a few centimetres. It will give a good indication of how accurate your hand held GPS really is!
Wykey Bridge is on a back way to the PGL activity centre at Boreatton Park It is usually quiet, but may get busy at weekends when the PGL visitors swap over. No footpath, so care is needed. The bridge boasts a smart new deck and railings which were installed in 2004.
